Dr. Chrisette Dharma
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Meet Dr. Dharma, a passionate and innovative Medical Director who started out with a small medical practice and transformed it into Southwest Family Medicine Associates (SFMA). Her dedication to cutting-edge technology has earned SFMA recognition as a "medical home" by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Dr. Dharma believes in leaving no stone unturned when it comes to medicine, and her approach has earned her a strong following of patients who appreciate her commitment to their health. She's also a firm believer in prevention, which led her to establish an on-site wellness center in 2014. In addition to her work at SFMA, Dr. Dharma holds multiple board positions, including president of her local chapter and a seat on the National Texas of Physicians (TAFP) board. She's also an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern, where she's been teaching medical students for over 15 years. When she's not busy with her many commitments, Dr. Dharma enjoys exploring art galleries, practicing yoga, traveling, doing CrossFit, volunteering, practicing Capoeira martial arts, and spending time with her family. She's truly a pillar of the community and is always looking for ways to give back, which is why she founded Southwest Cares - to impact the lives of those around her positively.
Sanjay Pamurthy
Chief Financial Officer
Meet Sanjay Pamurthy, the financial genius behind Artham Financial Advisors. With years of experience in corporate finance and investing, Sanjay knows the ins and outs of managing your wealth like no other, which is why we are thrilled to have him on our board. He founded Artham in 2021 to help individuals and families conquer their financial fears and build a secure future. When Sanjay's not busy crunching numbers, he loves spending time with his family, catching a show at the opera, and even running in local marathons. Oh, and did we mention he's delighted to be a part of Southwest Cares? You won't find a more knowledgeable, passionate advisor than Sanjay and we are happy he's on the board.
Dequise Rose

Meet Dequise Rose, the powerhouse Chief Operating Officer of Southwest Family Medicine Associates! With almost two decades of experience under her belt, Dequise expertly manages the daily operations, finances, HR, and recruitment for this cutting-edge medical practice. Her passion for developing healthcare-related business solutions and providing outstanding client service has led to profitable revenue growth and impressive success for the company. But Dequise's dedication doesn't stop there - she's also an integral part of the organization, supporting the CEO and their initiatives every step of the way. And with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, and Strategic Management from the University of North Texas, she's more than qualified for the job! Outside of work, Dequise is a true gem - she's always giving back to her community through volunteer projects and loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends. Whether she's reading or traveling, she approaches everything with the same enthusiasm and drive that make her such an incredible COO.
