Southwest Cares is proud to announce our partnership with Toiletries for Families, a non-profit organization that is committed to providing essential toiletries to children, men, and women during times of need. We believe that access to basic hygiene products is a dignified fundamental human right and are excited to work with Toiletries for Families to make this a reality for those in need.
The Importance of Access to Toiletries
Access to basic hygiene products is often taken for granted, but for many individuals and families, it is a luxury that is out of reach. Without access to essential toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products, individuals are at risk of developing health problems and experiencing social isolation. This is particularly true for those who are experiencing homelessness or financial hardship.
By partnering with Toiletries for Families, we hope to make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling to access essential hygiene products. Our goal is to provide individuals and families with the basic necessities they need to maintain their health and well-being.
How You Can Help
We are asking for donations of new toiletries and cosmetic bags to be distributed to those in need. Some examples of items we are looking for include:
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Soap and shampoo
Feminine hygiene products
Deodorant
Razors and shaving cream
Combs and brushes
Southwest Cares is committed to making a difference in our community by providing access to essential hygiene products for those in need. Our partnership with Toiletries for Families is an important step in achieving this goal. Everyone deserves access to basic hygiene products and we are excited to work with Toiletries for Families to make this a reality.
